It is very important that you expose yourself to the new language you are learning. Listening to music and reading are great ways to do this.
Remember, you maybe able to read hundreds of pages in your dominant language but in a new language its okay to revert to the basics. Read your favorite childrens nursery stories, classic books and even magazines!

I am from Honduras! I attended Texas State University and graduated with my bachelors in 2012.
I worked for Texas State until this past school year. I am a very proud bobcat!! I love everything that has to do with my culture and my language and am thrilled to be teaching this year at ILTexas.
